US Embassy in Kigali, Rwanda to host NIMBLE Mindset Session on Women Empowerment, Innovation & Entrepreneurship

🚀 We’re thrilled to announce that over 100 women—experienced founders, CEOs, and business leaders—have registered for the upcoming NIMBLE Mindset Women Empowerment, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Program on September 5, 2024 at the US Embassy in Kigali, Rwanda! 🇷🇼

This hybrid session, with some participants at the US Embassy and others on Zoom, will be led by Mariette Johnson Wharton, a 3x Founder and CEO with over 15 years of experience in tech innovation and senior leadership. Mariette brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for empowering entrepreneurs to reach new heights.

We’re particularly proud to see so many women leaders taking the initiative to grow their businesses and make a significant impact in their communities. This event promises to be an inspiring and dynamic opportunity for networking, learning, and sharing best practices. We asked participants what they want to learn and they asked for:

Entrepreneurship Skills: best practices on how to start, grow, and innovate their businesses, as well as how to cope with changes and stand out in the market.

Pitching and Communication: how to design effective pitches and improve public speaking skills
Business Innovation and Growth: techniques for innovative approaches to business, particularly in areas such as renewable energy, sustainable practices, and empowering women and vulnerable groups.

Networking and Leadership: how to build relationships with like-minded individuals and gain leadership skills for broader impact.

Women Empowerment: ways to support and empower women, particularly in rural areas, to achieve socio-economic independence through entrepreneurship.
